As our high streets are starting to blend into one - the same big chains, cafes and charity shops - it is easy to ignore the architecture above as we rush past getting on with our daily tasks.

Look Above is a call to action: a call for us to take a moment or two and look around our town centres and cities to recognise the beauty and structural marvels that surround us before they disappear.

We are looking to collate imagery from towns and cities globally so we can offer a showcase of architectural history that sit above our high streets. We would like contributions from aspiring photographers and anyone with an interest in architecture.

Guide: if you would like to submit photos, please consider the focus of the blog. We are looking for quirky and interesting architectural nuggets that sit above shop fronts.

All contributions will be acknowledged with the photographer's permission both on this blog and any printed material.

If you would also like to support this venture through sponsorship please contact us.
